In six hours I’ll be on a flight to Johannesburg. South Africa has always been very high on my “OMG I want to go there!” list, so I’ve been looking forward to this trip for a pretty long time.
But, since this trip is also about Meeting the Parents, the pre-trip emotional freakouts are even more intense than usual. If Andrew were slightly less patient, he would leave me behind.
Expect plenty of updates in the next 25 days with (if I’m lucky) too many pictures of the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard), Capetown and Pietermaritzburg. EEEEK!
