Is this what’s become of education?

This is my future. I’m desperate to get back to learning and since I’ll be in a Chinese speaking country for the next year, and not drawn to language-learning (the irony!), my classroom options are nonexistent. I’m signing up for some accounting courses (for various reasons I won’t share for jinx purposes) and my options seem to be limited to a few, somewhat respectable, online distance-learning offerings. I’m confident I’ll learn something useful. I’m feeling quite optimistic.
