The Epiphany
I now know which direction I´d like to take my life. I haven´t been this excited about the future since I still believed I´d make it as an actor. It´s a relief to finally have some sort of goal in life…
I´m starting to lose it - every time we´re on the bus they blast reggaeton, salsa and cumbia. We spent 6 hours on the bus today.
I´m trying to see through the tacky and enjoy Santa Marta. The Cactus and clear blue water make a beautiful combination. As Fercho, the tour guide, says Un aplauso para Dios.
Somehow I ended up on a tour bus to Santa Marta. They made me pray and sing songs. Me, Betty and 40 random strangers on a greyhound-like bus for the next 5 days…

I’m starting 2009 in the best way possible - spending two weeks in Colombia. Never been and don’t really know what to expect. Yay.
Now, if walking my suitcase down the street at midnight worked its magic, this year should also include travels through Brazil, Uruguay, Ecuador, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc…
Who knows though…a lot can change in a year.
